Hanging Utility Cables along Jalan Cikini Raya Managed

Jakarta Bina Marga Department manages utility cables and poles along Jalan Cikini Raya, Central Jakarta. It is done as the part of historic corridor arrangement in Jakarta.

We have set up ducting for utility networks on the underground's main hole

Bina Marga Department Head, Hari Nugroho conveyed, utilities in the area will be moved into underground. Thus pedestrian can use the sidewalk comfortably in order to support Jalan Cikini Raya as a historic corridor.

"We have set up ducting for utility networks on the underground's main hole," he said, Monday (8/26).

His side is targeting to manage all utilities cables and poles along Jalan Cikini Raya from Tugu Tani to Megaria, both west and east sides until end of this month.

"Later, we will also manage utilities on Jalan Salemba, Kramat Raya, Kemang Raya, Prof Dr Satrio, and Jalan Otista Raya," he explained.
